La coltivazione della terra (150 ettari circa di superficie seminativa) è incentrata esclusivamente per la produzione delle materie prime per l’alimentazione del bestiame (foraggi da fienagione, erbai annuali per insilati, cereali vari come orzo, triticale, mais, sorgo, favino, pisello proteico per la preparazione delle miscele per bovini e suini). Una parte dell’azienda (più marginale) è adibita a pascolo per i bovini, a bosco ceduo per il taglio di legna da ardere e per il camminamento dello stesso bestiame al pascolo il quale permette un' ottima gestione nella pulizia del sottobosco.
LAND CULTIVATION
The cultivation of our land(about 150 hectares of arable land) is focused exclusively on the production of raw materials for livestock feeding (hay fodder, annual grass for silage, various cereals such as barley, triticale, corn, sorghum, field beans, protein pea for the preparation of mixtures for cattle and swine). We use a part of the farm (more marginal) as grazing for cattle, in woodland for the cutting of firewood and for the walk of the same livestock to pasture which allows an excellent management of the undergrowth.
